High-Precision Systems holding included in Rostec State Corporation has supplied a next batch of the Kornet antitank remote launch stations and missiles.
The Kornet is widely used in the field. Targets hit by the system include the Leopard and Challenger tanks, the Bradley fighting vehicle and other foreign armed vehicles. A remote control panel has been provided for the system to allow the operator to stay in a safe location at a distance from the launch station.
“There is a reason why this system is still the most sought-after in the field. It combines high accuracy, reliability and fire power. Meeting with the Kornet gives almost no chance for modern enemy tanks, including those fitted with explosive-reactive armor. The number of killed vehicles has exceeded thousands long ago. Due to its flexibility, the antitank missile system developed by High-Precision Systems can be used to destroy fortifications and command posts, and to engage small mobile targets. For example, the Kornet is effectively used to kill UAVs,” said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Weapons Cluster of Rostec, member of the Board of the Russian Mechanical Engineers Union.
The system can be used from a wide variety of platforms. It is used from various shelters, is mounted on vehicles, buggies, quads, robotic systems, etc.
