Concession agreement for establishment and operation of an inter-university campus in Khabarovsk was signed between the Khabarovsk Krai and Rostec’s Infratech infrastructure holding on 31 March 2026.

The renovated campus project focuses on technology and materials for construction industry, technological transformation and IT development areas are expanded. This corresponds to the path taken by the region to achieving technological sovereignty and leadership in key sectors such as aircraft industry, shipbuilding, mining, mineral processing, etc.

Key technological facilities included in Rostec State Corporation are concentrated in the Khabarovsk Krai. The new inter-university campus will be a talent incubator for real economy. In particular, the demand for additional personnel at Rostec companies in the Far Eastern Federal District is more than 2 500 people.

The inter-university campus renovation concept in Khabarovsk is a collection of buildings with a total area of at least 89,450 square meters. The concept is based on formation of a central square that will become the heart of campus life. The educational complex will include four educational clusters: construction, technological, linguistic and IT, which are connected by heated passageways, a technology park, sports center, and dormitories.

It should be noted that forty modern world-class campuses shall be built in the country by 2036 on the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation within the Modern Campus Network federal project. The project encompasses not only dormitories and academic buildings, but also comfortable and landscaped spaces for communication between students, lecturers and researchers, cultural, business and sports venues, recreational areas, etc.
