About 25 OneCell Scan 3.0 scanners are to be produced this year

OneCell, a company co-owned by Azimut managing company included in Rostec State Corporation has launched batch production of Russia’s first OneCell Scan 3.0 microslide scanner. The instrument provides the fastest and most accurate cancer diagnosis.

The OneCell Scan 3.0 scanner is designed for digitization of histological and cytological microslides in medical laboratories. It determines the structure and number of affected cells by detecting abnormal tissue regardless of its size. Its main objective is to convert the whole flow of analog slides into digital twins and carefully control their quality. This is accomplished by artificial intelligence. 

The device can operate on the 24/7 basis. It can simultaneously scan 288 slides with material that was removed from the patient’s body during biopsy or surgical operation. Average scanning time is 2 to 3 minutes. The total magnification in the optical system is 63X, which corresponds to current pathomorphology requirements. 

After image digitization, the scanner sorts the samples automatically, and the slide is included in the computer database. The device is fully compatible with public online healthcare platforms.
