A full-scale mockup of the latest engine for tactical aircraft will be the main premier at the exhibition

United Engine Corporation will demonstrate cutting-edge aircraft technologies some of which have not been shown even in Russia. A next generation engine for tactical aircraft will be an international premier at the Airshow China.

The latest tactical aircraft leaves its predecessors behind in terms of service life, fuel consumption and thrust, and is actually a fifth generation engine. 

Foreign partners will first see an advanced AL-31FN Series 5 engine. The next generation propulsion will be used to expand significantly the aircraft altitude and range capabilities.

In addition, a SM-100 engine mockup will be demonstrated. This engine is designed for drones and combat trainers.  

Visitors of the Airshow China international exhibition will be also able to see solutions for the PD-35 high thrust technology engine demonstrator whose fan is more than three meters in size. Blades of the giant engine use cutting-edge technologies and materials and will be shown at full scale. 

A hybrid propulsion that uses two energy sources will be shown at UEC’s stand. It has been created on the basis of a new VK-650V aircraft engine and combines a gas turbine engine and motor.

UEC’s exposition at the international exhibition will include a total of eight exhibits to demonstrate the Russian engine technology development.
