Ruselectronics has made and delivered to the customers the first hundred paper shredders designed to permanently shred confidential and top secret documents into fine particles. Government agencies and defence companies were the main equipment customers.

The supershredder can cut simultaneously up to six sheets of paper with a standard density of 80 g/m2 at a rate of 60 mm per second. Cross-cutting mechanism is used to cut an А4 sheet of paper into pieces smaller than 2.5 mm2. This makes it impossible to restore the destroyed document even using dedicated software and hardware. The device is also capable of shredding plastic cards, CDs and DVDs.

It is manufactured by Novosibirsk-based Oksid Radio Components Factory owned by Ruselectronics holding. The device is fabricated from Russian-made components.

“The device corresponds to the highest classification level P-7 and, thus, may be used by security agencies, tax authorities and by manufacturers involved in the state defence procurement program. The shredder cuts an A4 sheet into more than 12,000 particles smaller than a ballpoint pen stroke. The shredded document will be never restored to its original state and read,” said Lev Nosenko, General Director of NZR Oksid.
