Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant named after Yury Gagarin, United Aircraft Corporation, has manufactured and delivered the new Su-35S’s to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
The 4++ generation Su-35S multirole fighters have passed a ground and flight test cycle in various operating conditions and have flown from KoAAP’s airfield to their duty location.
“Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant has achieved a stable aircraft production rate under the current year program. This is the second batch of combat aircraft delivered to the Russian Aerospace Force. The plant personnel fulfill their obligations on delivery of new aircraft on time and are working on creation of next batches of the Su-35 and Su-57 fighters,” said Yury Slyusar, General Director of UAC.

Today it is one of the leading manufacturers within UAC. “The plant has always provided an example of high manufacturing standards by introducing advanced technologies, mastering new types of aircraft, and developing competencies. At this point, the company has well-equipped production facilities, adequately arranged processes and high production culture. All this makes it possible to produce excellent aircraft for the Russian Air Force contributing to a common victory as aircraft manufacturers did during the Great Patriotic War,” said the General Director of the Corporation.
