Rostec Fireworks Festival Ended in Moscow

Last weekend, August 17 and 18, Moscow hosted the V International fireworks festival "Rostec", which was dedicated to the theme of theater this year. The Russian team was recognized as the winner of the colorful show. Traditionally, the festival was held in Brateevsky cascade park.

In addition to Russia, the leading pyrotechnic teams from Argentina, Italy, Spain, Canada, Pakistan, Portugal and France presented their compositions.

The competition task consisted of a business cards of participants – fireworks in national flag colors accompanied by the music with a national flavour - and arbitrary programs – the performance accompanied by the music of the popular theatre works: opera, ballet, operetta or musical. Each performance lasted about 10 minutes.

The jury assessed the integrity of the composition, the synchronism of volleys and musical accompaniment, the tempo, pyrotechnic know-how, the compliance of the performance with the specified technical parameters.

But the greatest impression on the audience and the jury was made by the performance of Russian masters, who eventually received the award of the festival – a Golden statuette "Assol". Teams from Portugal and Italy finished second and third, respectively.

According to Julia Voronova, Rostec State Corporation General Director Assistant and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Pyrotechnic technologies" festival organizer, the Rostech fireworks festival has become an international event.

"The high level of preparation, the qualification of the teams and the scale of the presentation allow our festival to stand on a par with the most famous fireworks festivals in the world. To win here means not only to get another medal, it is international recognition and the title of the best", – said Julia Voronova.
