Rostec has Launched Commercial Production of DMR Base Stations

Ruselectronics holding has launched commercial production of DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) portable base stations. The equipment allows to deploy a professional communication network with a range up to 20km within a few minutes. The devices are protected against direct listening and have a standalone operation capability up to 4 hours.

The portable base station developed by Sozvezdie Concern includes a repeater, six-meter telescopic tower with antenna, high-frequency filters and power supply with built-in batteries.

The system is available in 146-174Mhz and 401-486Mhz versions. The equipment supports individual, group and emergency calls, text message and geolocation data transmission. The device is supplied complete with five mobile radio stations and is also compatible with third party DMR equipment.

“The new system has supplemented the DMR equipment family manufactured by Sozvezdie Concern. The portable base station ensures prompt high-performance digital and analog radio communications in field conditions, including emergency events,” said Vladimir Makoviy, Director of the Research and Development Center of Sozvezdie Concern.

Sozvezdie‘s DMR equipment family also includes portable, car radio stations and repeater. All devices have increased interference immunity and are resistant to external exposure – vibrations, impacts, extreme temperatures and moisture. Commercial production of the digital DMR radio stations has been carried out since 2020.
