Silent Wings company (Kalashnikov Concern) has demonstrated the Alfa-E multirole unmanned helicopter furnished with a cargo-carrying case at the Reach the Sky Nationwide Distributed Festival of Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

Compact dimensions of the Alfa-E allow it to be transported in a car and assembled by one person within 15 minutes. The helicopter is operated from a mobile ground-based station at a distance up to 120 km. The maximum flight altitude reaches 3,000 m, while the airborne time is up to 1 hour 45 minutes.

The cargo case is the standard payload of the drone. It is reliably protected against moisture and dust ingress. The maximum dimensions of cargo are 460mm×350mm×220mm, and the allowable weight is up to 7 kg.

Besides the cargo case, the Alfa-E is equipped with gyrostabilized visible range cameras with 30-fold optical magnification, IR camera, laser scanner with a survey accuracy up to 5 cm, airborne cameras and aeromagnetometer.

Due to the ability to take off from any solid surface, including moving objects, the Alfa-E unmanned helicopter may be used when it is necessary to deliver urgent medicinal drugs and necessity goods to hard-to-reach areas, for remote sensing of ground and cyclic monitoring.
