Kalashnikov Concern first displays the advanced Krona-E short-range surface-to-air missile system for wide area air defence at the IDEX 2025 International Defence Technology Exhibition to be held on 17-21 February in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).

The Krona-E is designed to protect critical governmental property and urban infrastructure facilities, special loads in storage areas and facilities on strategic routes of communication against airborne weapon attacks. Hostile medium-class unmanned aerial vehicles are the main targets of the system.

The Krona-E is a single system consisting of combined detection/control components and automated mobile combat vehicles or fixed weapon stations equipped with munitions. The surface-to-air missile system uses the 9М340 and 9М333 guided missiles as munitions.
