Ruselectronics holding has developed a telemetry data transfer module to be used in hard-to-reach areas, for example, at logging camps and in Far North conditions, including sea vessels. The equipment is used to collect and send data in offline mode at predefined intervals to monitoring centers and needs no routine maintenance. It is planned to start of commercial production at the end of the current year.

The device is connected to the Gonets communications spacecraft and provides receipt and transmission of text and alarm messages. The product also translates telemetry data on the status of a monitored object. Due to a sealed housing and provision made for installation of heating elements, the telecom module may be used at extremely low temperatures, in particular, in the Arctic.

The module provides data transmission up to 19.2 kbps via the space-ground link and up to 9.6 kbps via the ground-space link. A built-in GLONASS/GPS receiver is responsible for positioning.
