Ruselectronics holding has delivered the first microwave modules for ground-, air- and space-based electronic equipment. The devices will replace American, German and French products.
M34230 series microwave modules were developed by Special Relay Design Bureau. The products are designed for signal switching up to 18 GHz and can withstand repeated impacts with an acceleration up to 50g, and can be used at temperatures from –60°C to +85°C. In addition, the modules are resistant to acoustic noise up to 150dB, which may be compared with a supersonic aircraft shock wave or a 12-gauge smooth-bore gun shot.
Microwave modules are included in the Russian Industrial Product Register and are fully composed of local materials and components.
The developed components fully replace Dow Key Microwave Corporation’s (USA) 535, 545 and 565 series modules and are also a functional substitute of Radiall SA (France), Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (USA), Tesat-Spacecom (Germany) components. Utilization of domestic modern electronic components allowed the price of Russian microwave modules to be reduced by 40% to 55% compared with the foreign equivalents.
