Ruselectronics holding has started deliveries of camouflage radar-absorbing systems for the TOS-2 heavy flamethrowing systems. The coating is used to keep equipment from being detected in the optical and near IR range and from being tracked by high-precision weapons.

Special radar-absorbing fabric and panels with camouflage material that are attached to armor and do not prevent movement form the basis of the new camouflage. This keeps a weapon from being detected not only in parking position, but also in transit and in combat.

The new material absorbs optical and near IR radiation. This provides effective countermeasures against modern guidance systems and detection by thermal cameras and other devices.

“The coating design makes it possible to wash away soil and dust stuck to the surface during operation. Therefore the military camouflage may be used continuously. The first systems are already used in the special military operation zone. They have proved highly effective,” said Ruselectronics representatives.
