Advanced combat aircraft and helicopters developed by holdings of Rostec - United Aircraft Corporation and Russian Helicopters - took part in air parades in Russian cities to commemorate the end of World War II. Four fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, Mi-28N attack helicopters, an upgraded A-50U locator aircraft, and strategic bombers passed in the skies over Moscow.

The parade over Red Square was opened by helicopters manufactured by the Russian Helicopters holding. Twenty aircraft passed in ceremonial formation – the Mi-26, the largest and most powerful helicopter in serial production, paraded alongside four Mi-8 and five-strong groups of attack Mi-35M, Ka-52 and Mi-28N.

For the first time since 2015, the A-50U long-range radar detection aircraft took part in the parade. Modernization of the A-50 aircraft is being carried out in cooperation with Rostec.

For the first time, four Su-57 took part in the parade over Red Square. This multifunctional stealth aircraft is designed to destroy all types of enemy air, ground and surface targets.
