Rostec has Fielded Grenade Launchers for Assault Units Ahead of Schedule

High-Precision System holding has fielded GM-94 grenade launchers ahead of schedule. This weapon is particularly demanded with assault units in the special military operation zone, because it ensures effective enemy engagement in fortifications.

The benefit of the new product designed by Tula-based Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau is a wide range of applicable 43mm ammunition, including fragmentation and flame types. The grenade launcher has an explosive range up to 5 meters, that is safe for the shooter, and allows to conduct operations in restrained urban conditions and indoors.

“GM-94 grenade launchers are extremely demanded in the special military operation zone, because they have outstanding ergonomics, light weight and low recoil. This is particularly important for the personnel fighting against the enemy in dug-in positions, almost in face-to-face contact. Thanks to hard and dedicated work of the Tula-based gunmakers, the new batch has been fielded ahead of schedule,” said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Weapons Cluster of Rostec.

The GM-94 weight without ammunition is less than 5 kg, the length is a little more than 80 cm with extended stock and less than 54 cm with folded stock.
