Shvabe Supplied Equipment to Russian Medical Institutions

The Shvabe holding company, a member of the Rostec State Corporation, supplied more than 6.6 thousand units of medical equipment to perinatal centres of Pskov, Gatchina, Tambov, Arkhangelsk, Petrozavodsk, Smolensk, Yakutsk and Penza.

The holding company supplied the medical equipment as part of the federal programme for the development of the perinatal centers' network in Russian regions. In total, 6.6 thousand units of advanced medical equipment and more than 15 thousand units of medical furniture manufactured by Russian companies were delivered to medical centers in eight regions. The equipment includes neonatal, laboratory, intensive care and gynecological equipment for pregnancy diagnostics, delivery and nursing care for infants.

"The holding company is the main supplier of medical equipment to 15 clinics all over the country that are designed, built, equipped and commissioned under orders of the Rostec State Corporation. We supply equipment to medical centers in various Russian regions where the need for such equipment is most urgent. For example, we made an integrated supply of equipment to Pskov and Gatchina on a turnkey basis. As early as this spring the medical centers will admit first patients," told Ivan Ozhgikhin, Deputy General Director of Shvabe.

Today, there are perinatal centers operating in Ufa, Orenburg, Bryansk, Makhachkala, Nazran, Penza and Tambov. Medical centers in Yakutia, Arkhangelsk and Pskov are ready to be commissioned in the nearest future.
