Rostec State Corporation will showcase promising local solutions for health care at Bioprom-2026. A new product in the field of regenerative medicine — innovative robot which can restore damaged skin and soft tissues, and Russia’s first bladder stone analyzer will be the key showpieces.
Automated system based on Russia’s DOKA RC5 collaborative robot is designed for 3D bioprinting. The technology solves the problems of regenerative medicine and can be used to restore damaged tissues.
Unlike the systems using a pre-designed template, this system is adaptable to an individual injury geometry. It scans the defect, creates its 3D model and then applies a hydrogel composition with living cells layer-by-layer following the elaborate surface texture. Thus, the robot can actually “see” a particular injury and adapts its operation to patient anatomy.
Scandi Pro, Russia’s first medical bladder stone analyzer, is another Rostec’s premiere. The device is unparalleled on the international market. The instrument uses infrared spectroscopy to identify stone components and helps a doctor establish possible causes of stone formation and select a treatment strategy.
