RT-Med-Tech included in Rostec State Corporation showcases Russia’s first medical bladder stone (urolith) analyzer at Bioprom International Forum. The analyzer is designed to select a treatment strategy and to prevent kidney stone disease relapses.

Scandi Pro performs detailed analysis of uroliths, then the system compares the analysis data with the database and yields ten most accurate coincidences. The device uses infrared spectroscopic analysis to determine the composition of substances via infrared light. This approach provides accurate and unbiased information about stone composition and helps doctors adapt treatment for patient’s individual indications.

There have been no authorized medical bladder stone analyzers in the country until the present day. Infrared spectroscopic analysis method is included in Russia’s and foreign clinical guidelines.

Similar solutions have been earlier available on the market only from foreign manufacturers. Scandi Pro medical analyzer is to be authorized in 2027.

Specific feature of the device is in that it doesn’t give a clinical diagnosis, but rather provides the doctor with a complete picture of bladder stone composition. Using this data, the doctor prepares a final conclusion.

Bioprom: Industry and Technology for Humans’ takes place in Gelendzhik on 5-6 October. Rostec State Corporation is a title parter of the event.
