At the Airshow China 2024 international aerospace exhibition, Ruselectronics holding first demonstrates an infrared camera that is capable of “seeing” for dozens kilometers in any weather conditions and at any time of day. The product may be used in miscellaneous surveillance systems, including during water rescue operations.
The demonstrated UTK-4 is a 0.95-1.65 µm near infrared band (SWIR) camera. Photons reflected from the detected objects are read by a dedicated sealed TV sensor that houses a radiation-sensitive photocathode and electron-sensitive matrix in vacuum. This allows noise jamming to be reduced and resolution to be increased.
The camera can be synchronized with laser illumination to suppress image foreground and background. The system detects objects at long distances and generates high resolution images even in total darkness, fog, rain and dust storm conditions.
Besides the IR camera, Ruselectronics demonstrates the UTK-UF2 ultraviolet TV camera, photomultipliers for photometry, radiation-resistant vidicon and photodetector for radiation-resistant telemetry system applications.
