Ruselectronics holding starts developing the Digital Twin of Airports system. The solution is a virtual copy of airport infrastructure that will facilitate forecasting various risks, raise the safety level and improve general airport performance.

The solution will be used to calculate adequately airport infrastructure load, streamline personnel work, forecast passenger traffic and simulate business processes on short-term and long-term horizons.

The Digital Twin of Airports is created using the Zenit integrated ground infrastructure monitoring system. The solution has been deployed at Kaluga Airport. The Zenit collects remote metering, audio and video data, including location and status of special vehicles, number of passengers in the cabin, amount of baggage on a tug or items in a vehicle body. Up-to-date information is transmitted to a server where it is processed and automatically downloaded onto an interactive map.
