Rosel holding has developed new generation Nabat flame detectors that are capable of operating in adverse conditions. The devices can detect fire in under 6 seconds at a distance up to 50 meters. The new product is designed for oil wells, oil platforms, gas pipelines and chemical facilities. This kind of equipment was previously supplied to Russia from abroad.

The multiband detectors identify even combustion of substances that don’t release CO2 such as oxygen, ammonia, hydrazines and sulfur, which are widely used in chemical industry.

The Nabat may be integrated into an automatic fire extinguishing system and transmit signals to the operator panel with indication of fire coordinates. Proprietary multispectral infrared photodetectors provide high fire detection integrity. The automatic self-testing system guarantees reliable equipment performance monitoring.

The detectors are available in general-purpose explosion-proof design. Due to the integrated heating system, the devices may be used at temperatures to -60°C, which is especially important for the Arctic Zone of Russia.
