Rosel holding included in Rostec State Corporation has first demonstrated the caesium frequency and time standard 2021 (CFTS-2021) at the Digitalization of Industrial Russia conference. The device is unparalleled on the Russian market and designed for precision synchronization of digital communications system and for research. The equipment will replace similar products imported from the USA and Switzerland.

CFTS-2021 is a high-tech device that generates stable signals to be used as reference for setting and calibration of telecommunications equipment. It is used for communications equipment synchronization in mobile networks, data processing centers, metrological, navigation and space systems.

The device is equipped with an atomic-beam tube that uses caesium-133 as a working medium. The CFTS-2021 is a reliable and high-precision solution for applications requiring high stability and accuracy. The device also features flexibility and reliability. The solution is comparable with the world’s best products and can serve for at least ten years.

The device has undergone all tests, is certified as a primary reference source, and is listed on the State Register of Measuring Equipment. It was first demonstrated at the CIPR-2025 conference in Nizhny Novgorod this year.
