Rostec has Delivered a Batch of the Rakushka-M BTR-MDM Armored Vehicles to the Army

The vehicles have passed all kinds of performance tests and have been accepted by military acceptance representatives

High-Precision Systems holding has delivered a new batch of the Rakushka-M BTR-MDM fighting vehicles to the customer under the state defence procurement program 2024. The vehicles have passed all types of performance tests and have been accepted by military acceptance representatives. 

The Rakushkas are equipped with local drone control suppression systems and top attack protection kits. Moreover, the BTR-MDMs have got the Nakidka thermal and radio signature reduction kits as well as driver’s night vision devices. 

The BTR-MDM airborne multi-role assault vehicles are designed to carry an assault party up to 13 people as well as ammunition, spare parts, fuel and lubricants as part of airborne assault units in all combat conditions and various climatic conditions. The crew consists of two persons. The Rakushkas can move at a maximum speed on highway of at least 70 km/hour and a mean speed on dry earth road from 45 km/hour to 50 km/hour. 

The Rakushka BTR-MDM is the only armored vehicle that has been created in modern Russia and on which a technique of airdrop with crew on board has been worked out.
