The 13th International Amber Forum is to be held from 31 July to 3 August at VDNH

Rostec’s Amber Combine will first hold the AmberForum in Moscow. VDNH will be the venue of the 13th International Amber Forum. Participants of the cultural and business event will be able to explore the steps of amber industry establishment in Russia, to see unique natural gemstones and fossil inclusions, take part in an expert session and rare gem auction. 

The AmberForum 2025 topics and slogan Amber Power of Russia: from the Victory to Victories are inseparably associated with a landmark date — the 80th anniversary of the Victory. Rostec’s Amber Combine, the forum organizer, appeared due to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The company was established in 1947 on the basis of Königsberg Amber Factory.

AmberForum 2025 will include Russia’s largest exhibition where the leading processing factories will demonstrate their latest products. Fashion shows of clothing decorated with amber will be first held at the forum. The Amber Combine representatives will give master classes where visitors will be able to make amber jewelry and souvenirs.

“The Amber Forum was traditionally held in the Kaliningrad Region where 90% of the proven gem reserves are concentrated. And every year we could see the growth of interest in the AmberForum, in particular, among foreign partners and tourists. Therefore, we decided to expand the forum geography and hold it in Moscow. The world’s only rare amber auction will be one of the major events. We’ll put up for the auction 20 unique gemstones weighing more than one kilogram and 20 fossil plant and insect inclusions,” says Mikhail Zatsepin, General Director of the Kaliningrad Amber Combine.
