High-Precision Systems within Rostec State Corporation was established 15 years ago in 2009. More than 15 companies with thousands of employees have joined the holding during this time. The holding is focused on high-precision systems and weapons for a combat tactical zone. Famous Iskander-M, Pantsyr S-1, BMP-3 and other equipment are manufactured here. High-Precision Systems companies are currently working on the fulfillment of the state defence procurement program, upgrading their developments following the results of application in the special military operation zone and ramping up civilian production.
The holding includes such companies as Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau, Machine-Building Design Bureau, Kurgan Machine-Building Factory, Central Research Institute for Automation and Hydraulics, Central Apparatus Design Bureau and other facilities. Maintenance and repair competences of High-Precision Systems are supplemented by several armor repair plants. All together, High-Precision Systems includes more than 15 companies.
Pantsyr S-1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, Kornet antitank missile system, Krasnopol-M2 cannon-launched guided projectile, Iskander-M army tactical missile system, Khtizantema-S self-propelled anti-tank system, Verba shoulder-fired weapon, Izdelie 305, BMP-3, BDM-4M, BMP-2M Berezhok and other weapons developed and manufactured by the companies within High-Precision Systems are known all over the world and have demonstrated the excellence and power of the Russian school of weapons.
Fulfillment of the state defence procurement program for the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is still the high-priority task for the holding in 2024. Since the date of establishment, High-Precision Systems have been actively collaborating with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and other federal government agencies. From the beginning of the special military operation, cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has been intensified considerably, operational feedback has been set up to facilitate the use of products made by the holding.
Alongside with the fulfillment of the state defence procurement program and product upgrading in the special military operation conditions, the companies within the holding are working on the development of advanced weapons and military equipment. The companies of the holding are extensively developing high-tech civilian production. Production of road and construction machinery, refuse collection and street-cleaning vehicles, forestry and agricultural machinery, machine engineering, foundry and forging, and industrial construction services are among the key competences of High-Precision Systems in civilian areas.
Increase in production capacities is a strategic business area of High-Precision Systems. The companies controlled by the holding are involved in modernization and construction of new real estate projects, including renovation. In the near term of 2023-2024 according to the approved schedules, the companies of the holding are planning to carry out scheduled modernization and renovation of buildings, construction of new facilities, shops and warehouses. The total amount of purchased equipment within the production capacity modernization program of High-Precision Systems will be more than 20,000 items in 2023-2024.
High-Precision Systems are consistently providing the Russian Armed Forces with advanced reliable weapons, military and special vehicles. At the same time, the work on competitive high-tech civilian and dual-purpose products is underway. The holding continues upgrading its facilities, ramping up production capacities, involving new personnel and training high-skilled workers.
