KAMAZ-master has Announced the Crews for the Silk Way Rally-2023

KAMAZ-master race team will participate in the international Silk Way Rally 2023 with its five crews.

The international Silk Way Rally 2023 is to be held from 6 to 15 July. The rally route consisting of nine stages covers the territory of Russia starting in Kazan and finishing in Moscow. The race course will join 13 regions of our country. The sportsmen are to cover a total of 5241km, with special stages accounting for 2280km of them. The Silk Way Rally will become the most large-scale competition in the European and Asian parts of the country, with not only SSVs, off-road vehicles and trucks, but also motorcycles and quads being traditionally at the starting line as an integral part of the Silk Way Rally since 2019.

Five crews from KAMAZ-master will take part in the truck racing series: Dmitry Sotnikov and Andrey Karginov will drive K5 family KAMAZ-435091 race trucks. Eduard Nikolaev’s crew will drive a new version of a bonneted race truck – KAMAZ-435091K. Sergey Kuprianov’s crew will also challenge off-road terrain driving a gas-diesel-powered KAMAZ truck.

Among the Silk Way Rally 2023 participants, special attention will be drawn to the Russian-Chinese One Belt, One Road crew consisting of driver Hou Hongning (China), co-driver Shen Xin (China) and engineer Sergey Krenev who will drive a KAMAZ truck.
