Rostec state corporation will demonstrate more than 30 medical developments at the BIOTECHMED 2019 forum. Among them are telemedicine solutions, physiotherapeutic complexes, ultrasound scanners, resuscitation systems for newborns, new vaccines and much more. The event takes place in Gelendzhik from September 16th to 17th.
Within the framework of the forum, Rostec will introduce a unique development - a hybrid operating room made of carbon fiber, which allows surgical intervention under the supervising control of MRI and X-rays. Other innovations include an ultrasound medical complex for treating tumors with a non-invasive method.
Guests of the forum will also be able to evaluate the operation of the hardware and software complex of remote video consulting based on Integro smart chambers. The system opens up new opportunities for telemedicine, allowing you to attract specialists from anywhere in the world. Using this technology, a teleconference will be organized with the Almazov Medical Research Center in St. Petersburg.
“The volume of deliveries of Rostec’s medical products exceeded 30 billion rubles in 2018, it is planned to increase this figure to 80 billion rubles by 2025. The corporation conducts a wide range of work in this area - from the introduction of telemedicine systems and IT services to the production of medication and vaccines. We produce more than 500 items of medical products in total”, said Sergey Chemezov, head of Rostec State Corporation.
