United Engine Corporation is to increase the output of power generating gas turbine units and power plants for them to 40 systems annually. Thus, the output of power generating gas-turbine equipment at UEC will more than triple.
Now, UEC’s power generating units use about 15 types of industrial gas turbines with power from 2.5 to 25MW and 118MW manufactured by United Engine Corporation companies. Increased supply of power generating equipment is the response to market request for import substitution. UEC will focus on the power generating equipment for modernization of electricity generating companies, power supply of industrial and oil and gas facilities.
“We are ready to phase out foreign gas turbine equipment. Currently, we offer up-to-date products which are similar to foreign equipment in their performance. The total power of the power generating equipment manufactured and supplied by UEC companies during 25 years exceeds 6GW. It is planned to output up to 40 power generating units annually by 2025, this equals threefold production growth,” said Andrey Vorobiev, General Director of UEC-Engineering.
