In December 2024, Kalashnikov Concern completed all contracts for manufacture and shipping of high-precision weapons: guided surface-to-air missile for the Strela surface-to-air missile system, Vihr-1 air-launched guided antitank missile and Kitolov-2M guided artillery projectile. Output of these products widely used in the special military operation zone has increased by several times.

“Customer interest in our products is driven by their combat employment record,” said Alan Lushnikov, General Director of Kalashnikov Concern, member of the Board of the Russian Mechanical Engineers Union. “Almost three years of the special military operation have shown high research and technology competences of Russian engineers to the whole world. We are continuously ramping up production of popular products for the sake of strengthening the national defence capability.”

All special products were shipped just in time. This was possible due to opening additional production sites furnished with new equipment. Note that two new high-precision weapon production shops were completely put into operation in December.
